Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Local Sales Strategist to lead and execute market-specific sales plans within your local region. This role is ideal for someone who is both data-driven and people-oriented, with a strong understanding of the solar industry and a passion for helping customers make the switch to renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement localized sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
Identify key market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity within the assigned region
Partner with marketing to design targeted campaigns and community outreach efforts
Manage and mentor a team of local solar consultants and sales reps
Build relationships with local businesses, homeowner associations, and government entities
Generate and qualify leads through grassroots efforts and networking
Track sales metrics and adjust strategies based on performance analytics
Stay up-to-date on solar technology, incentives, and regulatory changes
Qualifications:
Proven experience in solar sales, energy services, or a similar industry (2+ years preferred)
Strong strategic thinking and territory planning abilities
Experience leading or mentoring a sales team
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tools
