Location: Jasper, IN
Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 + Benefits

A well-known and established Ag Retailer is looking for a Location Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in Ag Retail and strong interpersonal skills. This position offers a unique opportunity for career growth, as the company aims to groom the new hire to take over the General Manager role in approximately 5 years. Local candidates are preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales and Customer Relations:

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
* Promote and sell agronomy products, including seed, fertilizer, and agricultural chemicals.
* Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Operations Management:

* Oversee daily operations at the location, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
* Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and distributing agronomy products.
* Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.

• Team Leadership:

* Supervise and support a team of employees, providing guidance and training as needed.
* Foster a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration.
* Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.

• Strategic Planning:

* Work closely with upper management to develop and implement strategic plans for the location.
* Identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
* Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Ag Retail or related field.
* Proven track record in sales and customer service.
* Experience in managing operations and leading teams.

• Skills:

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Education:

* Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required.
* Relevant work experience can substitute for education.
