Responsibilities: Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service Act as the primary contact between our clients and our company and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressed Qualifications: Preferably 5+ years of experience in a professional office or mortgage environment as a mortgage loan officer assistant or similar position Preferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. Compensation: $18 - $23 hourly
