Job Description

Locus Robotics is adding a Production Test Technician to our team, focusing on functionality testing of our robots. This role will be focused on physical testing, running Linux test scripts, software deployment and issue tracking in addition to working with the manufacturing team on a variety of projects. The successful candidate will have production test experience in the hardware/technology space, will be a motivated self-starter and will enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment. This job is located in our Wilmington, MA headquarters, and is not suitable for remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• QA robot functionality testing (driving, lighting, navigation, e-stops).
• Troubleshooting physical connections.
• Running check scripts (basic Linux).
• Software/image deployment.
• Develop testing tools.
• Issue tracking and reporting.
• Assist with manufacturing tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Interest in learning basic Linux and ROS coding.
• Well-developed organizational, time management, and communication skills.
