  • Responsibilities

    Loenbro is seeking a Project Engineer/Scheduler to join our growing organization. This position will support Project Managers and support the day to day activities of multiple projects in the Rockies area. You will set schedule/construction timeline on all jobs. Ensures all work orders and necessary paperwork is delivered to each sub-contractor. Resolves any conflicts in scheduling, corrects any miscommunication and maintain relationships with clients to ensure smooth production of projects. This position requires Primavera P6 scheduling experience. Must be willing to travel in the Rockies Area for projects. Compensation according to experience/skills. There is opportunity for advancement if the candidate is ambitious and willing to take on responsibility. This opportunity will support the Rockies area based out of Casper, WY. You will be assigned to projects and move around to the various job-sites.


    • Plan project schedules

    • Prepare project paperwork, maintain tracking systems

    • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with the Project Manager

    • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management

    • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors

    • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates

    • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests

    • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements

    • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems

    • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.

    • Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts

    • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions

    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations

    • Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data

    • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations

    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

    • Travel is required for the Rockies Area


    • Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience in Construction Industry preferred
    • Requires min of 1 years Primavera 6 scheduling experience
    • Scheduling Skills, Time Management, Design Skills
    • Competent in all Microsoft products and scheduling experience
    • Strong work ethic, ability to prioritize and excellent communications kills
    • Willingness to work both in field and office settings and ability to work in high production, fast moving environment
    • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen
    • Basic computer knowledge is expected
    • Maintains rapport with customers and employees by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements
    • Background and Drug testing will be done before hiring process and must be able to follow all company standards based on the employee handbook, drug & alcohol policy, and safety handbooks
    • Ability to complete projects on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to the original plans and specifications
