Logan Danson is looking for a full-time, permanent Paraplanner to join the team. We specialize in individual and business income tax preparation, financial planning, and consulting. This position is an addition to our current team to align our team size with our continued and consistent client portfolio and revenue growth.

In this position, you will…

·       Assist with the development and review of clients’ financial plans

·       Prepare client reports and recommendations for financial adviser(s)

·       Attend client meetings with financial adviser(s) and support the completion of meeting follow-up items

·       Support the return of phone and email inquiries from clients on financial planning questions

·       Assist with the scheduling and logistics coordination of financial planning meetings

·       Handle the maintenance, updates, and integration of software financial planning tools

You will be successful in this role with…

·       A bachelor’s degree of finance or related field and the completion of your CFP or ability to obtain it after hire

·       A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in financial planning and services

·       Understanding of the financial planning process

·       Financial initiative; being able to achieve agreed upon outcomes without supervision

·       Financial report writing expertise

·       Knowledge of financial planning and accounting software, including but not limited to Canopy, Black Diamond, and Redtail

·       The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing

·       Computer literacy, especially with MS Excel

·       Strong research skills, being detail-oriented, and self-driven
