    As the leader of our dynamic Human Resources team, you'll be charged with managing all provisions of the Human Resources department, services, policies and programs for LogiCore.

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    The HR Manager will report to the COO and must have strong business acumen to effectively coach managers on resolving complex challenges and provide guidance to employees. This position will lead recruitment and end-to-end onboarding process including sourcing candidates, extending offers, orientation and processing new hire paperwork. The HR Manager is also responsible for processing payroll updates, employee transfers and terminations. Additionally, this position will provide workplace conflict resolution and provide interpretation of company policies and procedures to both employees and all levels of management.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Work with leadership to identify business needs and build HR strategies to support those needs. Advise all levels of management on policy matters and provide guidance in resolving work related issues. Provide counsel to employees and managers to ensure that they are in compliance with state, federal and company policy.

     

    Work with COO on policy development, organizational changes, and strategic Human Resources initiatives as needed.   Present recommendations for process improvement and other changes to increase efficiency and productivity. Influence leaders to implement changes needed to improve functional performance.  Spearhead development and presentation of new programs relating to HR.

     

    Manage full employee life cycle: recruitment, extend offers, onboard, conduct new hire orientation, process new hire paperwork, as well as conduct exit interviews

     

    Partner with management to provide consultation and coaching on matters related to: employee relations; training and organization development; change management initiatives; workforce and succession planning; and performance management.  Address complaints and conduct investigations to ensure compliance with company policy and Federal/State employment laws.   Manage and resolve employee relations and labor relations issues.

     

    Manage the administration of data and employee accounts in various applicable website applications. Track salary increases and paid time off accruals. Maintain FMLA tracking and ensure proper communication and documentation.

     

    In partnership with the COO, ensure that employee handbook and company policies stay updated based on legislative changes and updates are communicated to employee population.

     

    Identify employee development areas (competencies/skill sets) and implement succession planning initiatives within assigned business areas. Develop and execute the programs.  Facilitate and co-facilitate training programs within areas of expertise (Recognition Programs, Performance Management, etc.)

     

    Partner with HR colleagues to support succession/talent planning efforts that ensures talent is being positioned and groomed across the company. Maintain and leverage strong relationships across the HR organization.  

     

    Understand and utilize pertinent data to provide insights to leadership that help drive business decisions. Utilize data to identify trends and diagnose organizational effectiveness issues.

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree (4-year)
    • Area of Study:   Human Resource Management
    • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification
    • 5 to 7 years of related work experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Contractor industry
    • Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
    • Significant experience working across a full range of Human Resources disciplines, including compensation, recruitment, employee relations and talent management
    • Strong knowledge of federal and state laws that affect HR policies and procedures, including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and other regulatory and compliance laws
    • Proven effective consulting skills with an ability to influence at all levels
    • Familiarity with HR reporting
    • Experience analyzing and presenting findings and reports back to the business as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel skills
    • High level of demonstrated expertise and understanding of employment laws and regulations
    • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with shifting priorities and ambiguity
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize high volumes of work
    • Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license.
