    Job Description

    As our client’s business continues to grow and scale, we are building and running privacy processes and compliance services to protect customer data across the organization. Our team is driving data privacy readiness, leading special projects, sharing thought leadership, and reducing manual effort in current operations by identifying and implementing streamlined solutions. 

    As Manager on this project, you’ll evaluate and assess data privacy practices by mapping data flows, identifying gaps, and creating remediation plans, while helping drive data privacy regulation and compliance (e.g. GDPR, CPRA, etc.). If you’re a high-energy, experienced leader with a passion for data privacy, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

    ABOUT YOU

    • You understand the ins and outs of managing in a “big” consulting context
    • You are a structured strategic thinker with the ability to tackle complex business strategy, process, and change management challenges
    • You prioritize fostering client relationships, maintaining an executive presence, and establishing trust with senior level leadership
    • You have deep experience in areas such as strategy and operations, M&A, project/portfolio leadership, product management, and change management
    • You can recognize and leverage new business opportunities
    • You gain fulfillment from managing and mentoring consultants
    • You see yourself at the helm of a practice
    • You have a burning desire to help take the firm to the next level
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5-8 years of experience in implementing a data privacy program to support adoption and maintenance of privacy documentation and operationalization
    • Knowledge of and experience with CCPA, GDPR, and other privacy regulations
    • Ability to create data flow diagrams by asking probing questions during client interviews
    • Demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects, aligning technology, business, and legal requirements
    • Ability to organize and lead diverse project teams
    • Ability to mentor junior resources to help them grow professionally and to lead small to large teams
    • Excellent organizational, presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Data Privacy Certifications (e.g. CIPM or CIPT) 
    • Prior consulting experience (Big 4/8 consulting firm experience is a plus)
