Job Description

LogicStream is a growing medical software company.  Healthcare IT is one of the fastest growing industries in America, and LogicStream defined and now leads the market through Clinical Process Improvement, Drug Shortage Management and Drug Diversion Investigation.  LogicStream is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to assist us in testing our software platform via manual and automated testing.

This role is based in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis). The position is remote for now, but once it is safe to do so, employees will be expected to work at least 50% of the time from the downtown Minneapolis office. You will report to the Quality Assurance Lead but will also be in close interaction with all other members of the larger development team.  You must be located in the Twin Cities or willing to relocate at your own expense.  LogicStream will not pay any relocation expenses.

Responsibilities

·        Write detailed functional test scripts

·        Write and maintain clean and efficient manual regression tests

·        Review and update test scripts based on feedback

·        Perform functional testing, backend testing, performance testing, cross browser testing and regression testing

·        Effectively report bugs and errors to development team

·        Provide technical support to customer success team

·        Participate in team meetings and provide status updates

·        Participate in customer implementations

·        Install and upgrade software components (may require occasional after-hours work)

·        Assist in the deployment of releases to customers

·        Learn and understand the domain (clinical decision support and pharmacy)

to support software testing activities

·        Learn SQL and other testing technologies

·        Execute existing automated Selenium WebDriver regression tests

·        Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

We are currently seeking a Software Quality Analyst who has up to three years of experience in performing various testing activities in the software development life cycle. Being organized, analytical, and able to perform detail-oriented work while being a team player and quick learner are more important than having specific skills.

Candidates should hold at least an associates or bachelor's-level degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, MIS, mathematics, or another field that demonstrates the required skills. Candidates with equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
