    Job Description

     

    The Provider Relations Manager will ensure on-going network development and available contract rate capacity through commitment to overall network health for the area assigned to them. They will provide direction and close guidance in managing on-going transportation supplier relationships through communicating with all Provider Relations Coordinators. They will safeguard contract fulfillment of insurance requirements and credentialing of sub-contractor vehicles and drivers; will provide leadership support on the development, implementation and execution of all deployments, special projects or other Network Health related actions. The Manager of Provider Relations will ensure adherence to relevant federal and state laws, contract standards, and LogistiCare's ethical standards.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provider Network Functions Ensures overall network health for the assigned market/area through on-going network development and individual provider relations support Executes on-going network development to prevent network deficiencies and meet or exceed budgeted unit cost Manages transportation provider network contracts to ensure that performance criteria are met and maintained Oversees the onboarding of transportation providers to include contracting and negotiating rates. Ensure credentialing policies are followed and standards are adhered to Develop metrics and implement plans to execute on-going network development to manage network deficiencies Ensure delivery and review of the provider performance reviews Negotiates with provider network to meet budgeted costs, including rate exception oversight Application of corrective action plans for transportation provider contract deficiencies and recommends liquidated damages if necessary Engages in provider relations support to initiatives for overall provider business management support (i.e. assisting with grants for vehicles, strategies for hiring and maintaining quality drivers) Responsible for overall Network Digitization and assumes role of subject matter expert for all digitization initiatives Assumes primary responsibility and leadership for quarterly provider meetings Responsible for platform utilization (transition & implementation): first point of contact and first call resolution for Providers as subject matter expert for initial and on-going platform initiatives. Other duties as assigned.

    Client Relationships Develops ongoing relationship with transportation providers & outside agencies relevant to network health and provider business support Manages problem resolution and quality monitoring including provider complaint reports

    Supervision Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Data Collection, Maintenance and Reporting Provides weekly network health reports to the Director of Provider Relations including but not limited to unit cost, rate exception, network development, network digitization and platform utilization.

    Education Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Logistics, Marketing or other related field

    Experience

    5+ years of experience in transportation services and provider network development required 2 years staff supervisory experience required Negotiation and contract management experience is preferred Previous P/L experience preferred

    Driving Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to pass DMV record check Driving record must remain in compliance with LogistiCare's driver qualification standards Must be able to use a hands-free mobile phone

    SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of and proficiency in quality improvement tools and processes Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or with a team a must Must be self-motivated and possess superior time management skills Demonstrated software skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook and Word Must have proven experience dealing with conflict management Excellent people management skills Public speaking skills Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and private Non-Emergency Medical Transportation

    Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to learn proprietary software system
