    The Logistics Administrator at The Chef’s Garden is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely movement of products and shipments, particularly high-priority and perishable items. This role emphasizes coordination with sales, customs, and carriers while managing documentation, compliance, and cost-effectiveness in both domestic and international logistics operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Analyze logistics operations to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions.

    · Monitor and track high-priority and overnight shipments; escalate issues as needed.

    · Maintain accurate shipping records, invoices, and documentation.

    · Prepare and verify export documents and shipping labels (air bills, freight bills).

    · Ensure compliance with customs regulations and manage international shipping documentation, including familiarity with CARM and Incoterms (e.g. DDP).

    · Serve as a liaison between customs brokers, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.

    · Run regular delivery and claims reports.

    · Support internal coordination between logistics and sales by providing shipping rate updates and finding cost-effective shipping alternatives.

    · Build relationships with shipping vendors and short line carriers.

    · Operate tow motor equipment (certification required).

    · Any and all other duties as assigned.

    Skills & Qualifications

    · Valid driver’s license with clean record.

    · Experience in logistics, warehouse, or shipping/receiving roles.

    · Basic computer skills (Excel, Adobe PDF).

    · Tow motor certification (or willingness to obtain).

    · Ability to lift 50 lbs and be active throughout shift.

    · Strong accountability, urgency, and adaptability.
