Job Title: Logistics Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to support the daily operations of our logistics and supply chain department. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, communicating with vendors and carriers, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from origin to destination. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and track shipments, deliveries, and returns to ensure on-time performance
Prepare and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records
Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve delays, discrepancies, or issues
Process purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents with accuracy
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
Monitor compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards
Support logistics projects and provide administrative support to the logistics team
Maintain organized files, records, and reports for audits and reporting purposes
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or administrative support
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP or logistics software a plus
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of shipping regulations and industry practices is an advantage
