  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Provide and ensure customer-focused activities, deliverables and services.
    • Manage daily activities resulting in continuous efficiency and process improvements.
    • Identifies, develops and implements delivery schedules in the most effective and efficient manner while meeting customer expectations and desires. Executables include
      • Batch orders into loads according to location, weight, size and delivery date.
      • Maximize weight and dollars per trailer and minimize distance traveled during delivery
    • Effectively coordinate schedules with internal support departments.
    • Process invoicing activities ensuring items are sourced correctly and coordinating customer changes with sales personnel.
    • Prepare delivery documents and information.
    • Facilitate communication between departments and Drivers.
    • Produce reports as needed.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of dispatching and / or logistics support.
    • Knowledge of hazardous materials and Federal Motor Carrier Safety guidelines.
    • Knowledge of JD Edwards software and Microsoft office skills is preferred.
    • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
