We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to prepare, route, and manage sales orders. Duties include reviewing shipment materials before distribution, collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups, and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes. The ideal candidate will have the ability to facilitate communication between production, sales, and distribution to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinating sales orders to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
Reviewing sales orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
Make special shipping arrangements, as necessary
Tracking and correcting shipping errors
Preparing bills and invoices
Ensuring the quality of all services
Good collaboration and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of inventory management
Ability to use computers, software, and other technology for inventory communication purposes
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
Ability to work with little supervision
Ability to track multiple processes
Computer-savvy, with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
Must be organized and detail-oriented
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; including written and verbal
Excellent customer service and client relations skills
Quick, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
