Our organization is currently seeking a new team member to join our Materials department. The ideal candidate should possess a professional demeanor and provide clerical support for inbound and outbound logistical operations. Coordinates warehousing and transportation activities in order to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. Supports a variety of logistical functions, including sourcing, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching. Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities: • None. Duties/Responsibilities: • Comparing shipment contents to records to ensure accuracy • Keeping track of the status of outgoing shipments and inputting data into the company system • Working with warehouse staff and drivers to ensure timely delivery • Working with logistics technicians, customer service, and other teams • Offering additional support for shipping and receiving departments as needed • Track the availability and location of products and supplies • Ensure orders are fulfilled and assist with coordinating with multiple departments and personnel • Performing data entry • Creating delivery schedules Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities: • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Excellent organizational and administrative skills • Integrity and leadership skills • Exemplary customer service skills • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with ERP and TMS software • Dispatch of local fleet drivers • Previous driver experience is a plus, but not required • Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts. (if needed) • Detail-oriented and multitasking skills • Advanced knowledge and competency of Microsoft Word and Excel • Previous logistics or supply chain experience is a must Education and Experience: • High school diploma or GED equivalent Physical Requirements: • Lift, carry, push, pull objects that are 25+lbs. • Standing for long periods of time • Bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching out A STATEMENT FROM SCOTT MANUFACTURING SOLUTIONS HUMAN ASSETS DEPARTMENT Scott Manufacturing Solutions has partnered with E-Verify to verify work eligibility in the United States.
