Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will coordinate and oversee transportation operations, ensuringthe timely delivery of goods and resources while maintaining optimal communication with our drivers and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and dispatch trucks to transport goods to destinations efficiently and promptly.

Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, addressing any issues or delays proactively.

Maintain communication with drivers to provide support and resolve any on-road challenges.

Collaborate with the operations team to optimize routes and reduce transportation costs.

Update and maintain accurate records of deliveries and logistics operations in the company’s system.

Prepare reports on transportation activities and performance metrics as needed.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and logistics partners.

Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience as a dispatcher or in a similar logistics role, preferred but not required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols is a plus.
