    The Document Control Specialist, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, is responsible for the closure of Build Assemblies (BA’s) to include the reconciliation of material quantities as utilized within production to ensure inventory accuracy. Additional responsibilities include cross-training on customer-specific shipment documentation and serving as a back-up to our shipping/deployment team. This individual is detail-oriented with a bias towards action, and well-versed in computer data entry. Organization, problem-solving, and collaboration with team members are key components to success within this role.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Daily checks with the QA or Production Manager to receive Batch Records for the day’s batch production schedule.

    2. Ensures the Mixing Room and all equipment are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with SOPs and Batch Record manufacturing instructions.

    3. Weekly on Mondays is responsible for sampling the Production water mains and preparing the samples for external lab testing.

    4. Stages all raw materials required and ensures there are adequate raw material quantities prior to making a batch.

    5. Communicates to the Production Manager and QA any discrepancies in raw material quality and quantity.

    6. Prepares production batches in accordance with Batch Records and SOPs and communicates to QA and Production Manager any issues observed.

    7. During production, routinely performs product quality checks such as weights, viscosity, and pH where relevant.

    8. Maintains all relevant equipment maintenance schedules in accordance with SOPs.

    9. Strictly adheres to safety instructions, good sanitation habits, and dress codes per company SOPs & cGMPs.

    10. Assists Production Manager & QA Manager in conducting inventory counts and reconciling any discrepancies.

    11. Responsible for performing general housekeeping in accordance with SOPs and ensures at day’s end the work area is cleaned, sanitized, organized and secured, and equipment are shut down.

    12. Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor.
