    Our Sales & Systems department is responsible for the railway transit brake systems sales, project management and engineering activities. The Sales & Systems Planner is a supporting role with key objectives to maintain the market, project and capacity planning tools as well as tracking performance and providing analysis

    Support the implementation of mid-term capacity planning across the Sales & Systems depts using the standard PPM MOP tool in SAP.

    Collaborate with Project Management to maintain a milestone schedule across projects to allow for Engineering task and resource planning. Participate in the implementation of Project Planning in SAP standard company tools (PPM)

    Generate department performance KPI metrics as necessary in sales and systems OE brakes and CoC-Engineering.

    Provide analysis on Sales & Systems (sales, project management and engineering) departments performance, change cost management, and department spending to budget with weekly/ monthly metrics.

    Create presentation materials and provide training on company work processes and work instructions.

    Coordinate and support Sales, Production and Purchasing organization to provide required details for demand, budget and capacity planning. Consolidate Market and Sales data for strategic planning in accordance with company guidelines.

    Maintain data accuracy for sales demand planning and production and purchasing planning processes. Perform content verification, analysis and compile monthly reports for management

    Generate PowerPoint presentations under the direction of directors and managers.

    Maintain market intelligence database, update industry standards within database, manage meeting notes and assist auditors as needed

    Conduct market and sales analysis for business planning and development in Americas (mainly USA, Canada, Brazil) as well as AD-HOC analysis and support as required.

    Support continuous improvement of planning tools and processes in close cooperation with the Global Planning Team. Further implement planning processes and tools, provide training and user support. Administer relevant planning tools and process, mainly in SAP.

    Coordinate project Lessons Learned activities and track improvements

    Assist in the definition of department processes under the direction of department directors and managers and generate work instructions for the processes.

    Provide support or take a leadership role as necessary with teams responsible for execution of process audits such as REX, IRIS, and CMMI.

    Required Skills

    Knowledge of manufacturing industry organization structure and operations as well as an understanding of typical product realization processes. Knowledge of engineering principles a plus.

    MS Office Suite software: Word, Excel (master level), Visio, PowerPoint, Access and Project. SAP Proficiency a Plus

    Work well in a team environment, multi-tasking, problem solving and work with minimal supervision.

    Strong communications skills - written and verbal skills for proposal activity and report generation.

    Flexibility to put in extra effort when required to satisfy program requirements, including potential travel (less than 10%). Work well under strong deadlines.

    Required Experience

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    1. Bachelor’s Degree
    2. Will consider those with an associate’s or working towards a degree
    3. 2-3 years Business or Engineering experience
