The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing and directing the activities involved in the receiving and use of all materials employed in the production of finished products for all three manufacturing facilities. These responsibilities & activities include working with the raw planning team to assure the proper plan is driving correct inventory levels. Work with the operations teams to ensure the right levels of inventory are met at the production floor. Drive inventory accuracy at all raw material locations within the ADC area.
Ensure that the processes and procedures are in place to maintain the appropriate inventory levels needed for daily production.
Establish and drive the necessary actions to meet the company’s inventory goals and baselines (turn-rates, inventory dollars, Days of Supply, etc.) by utilizing best practice processes and procedures concurrent with the company’s requirements and guidelines.
Provide the appropriate analysis and reports to review purchasing discrepancies, inventory accuracy.
Responsible for implementation of on-going functionality of the SAP system from an overall organization expectation and functional inventory flow responsibilities
Support/implement inventory reduction programs through KANBAN, VMI, and consignment programs.
Lead the identification of excess and obsolete inventory items; partner with logistics mgr. / purchasing mgr. and corporate inventory analyst to develop disposition actions.
Partner with corporate and manufacturing personnel to drive improvements on inventory and material flow for cost reductions.
Lead KPS methodology and culture change within his/her area.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for raw material distribution team
o 16 material handlers
Must have a strong materials and inventory background/knowledge base.
Knowledge of Six-Sigma tools and processes. Greenbelt certification a plus
Knowledge of braking products and commodities a plus
SAP knowledge required.
Microsoft suite proficient. Strong Microsoft Excel skills a must.
An understanding of the eVentus system a plus or other web-based supplier communication tools.
Bi-lingual of Spanish and English a must.
Minimum 4 years of experience in supply base management.
Demonstrated leadership and development skills with strong influence/interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills required
Innovated self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to drive thoughts into actionable tasks/projects with follow-up while establishing credibility and trust.

Bachelor’s Degree or collage degree in progress.
APICS Certification (CPIM, CIRM) a plus
