GROUP CLASS INSTRUCTOR - LAKE FOREST, IL on-call, as needed

HealthFitness is looking for GROUP CLASS INSTRUCTORS to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in LAKE FOREST, IL. In this position you will provide fun, effective and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit. This is an on-call position teaching on an as-needed basis.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NETA or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• This client site requires full COVID-19 vaccination as an essential job function. • Certified forklift operator
• 0 to 3 months experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Work is generally performed within a manufacturing environment subjected to temperatures of cold and warm along with wearing the proper PPE, with standard office equipment available along with plant manufacturing environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk, use hands or finger, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, or controls; may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision to a computer screen.
