    WHAT WILL YOU DO:

    You will be working in our meat processing facility as a Machine Operator. You can expect to:

    • Inspect the case sealer, robotic packer, box check weighers, and robotic palletizer for any damaged or missing parts.
    • Assemble and disassemble the case sealer, robotic packer, box check weighers, and robotic palletizer as needed.
    • Monitor and adjust the case sealer, robotic packer, box check weighers, and robotic palletizer as needed.
    • Set up, operate, and disassemble the assigned equipment according to the production schedule.
    • Work with Quality Assurance to monitor that products meet specifications (watch for defects, foreign materials, etc.).
    • Monitor and control machine settings as needed.
    • Monitor and record product and process data to ensure compliance.
    • Adjust speed of machine depending on product conditions and demand of the line.
    • Monitor the operation of the equipment and make basic adjustments and repairs as needed.
    • Work with maintenance to troubleshoot and prevent equipment failures.
    • If needed, disassemble and clean parts if defective product is being produced.
    • Monitor, document, and take corrective action on downtime, inspections, rework, machine settings, and tooling as needed.
    • Assist other machine operators as needed.
    • Follow company GMP, SSOP, food safety, and company rules/procedures.
    • Follow all LOTO and safety procedures.
    • Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
    • Clean equipment and the area as needed.
    • Performs related duties as assigned
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Scheduled days off may vary depending on production demands. 
    • Weekend work will be required.
    • Personal Protective equipment Provided (BOOTS, FROCKS, BUMP CAPS, EARPLUGS)

    Required Skills

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • 3 months of on the floor training
    • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and written.
