We’re supporting a leading specialty petrochemical company in their search for a Logistics Manager, and this role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of asphalt logistics and customer service activities for both retail and wholesale operations. In addition to logistics oversight, this position plays a key role in analyzing market and financial data to identify opportunities for margin improvement and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Manage asphalt logistics and terminal supply across truck, rail, and barge
• Ensure reliable supply of asphalt, additives, and polymers while minimizing working capital
• Analyze terminal P&L performance and identify margin improvement opportunities
• Optimize supply chain and logistics costs
• Provide market intelligence on pricing, inventory, and competitive trends
• Support business planning and forecasting for new and existing terminals
• Manage small capital projects for asphalt terminals
• Oversee terminal operating expenses and cost optimization initiatives
• Collaborate with technical teams to optimize chemical usage and resolve quality issues
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
• Travel to terminals and industry events as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 3+ years of experience
  OR Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong financial and operational analytical capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment
