    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Planner to support daily transportation and shipping operations. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating effectively with internal teams, carriers, and customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and organize transportation for various customers and accounts
    • Create and process Advance Ship Notifications (ASNs)
    • Audit orders for accuracy (quantities, product, and documentation)
    • Prepare and manage shipping documentation
    • Communicate with Sales Administration regarding orders and transportation needs
    • Coordinate load scheduling and details with the Logistics Supervisor
    • Communicate with carriers regarding schedules and special requests
    • Ensure compliance with customer-specific shipping requirements
    • Support driver check-in processes and related tasks

    Qualifications

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to read and follow written procedures
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a time-sensitive environment
