    They are seeking an experienced Logistics Sales Executive with a strong background in freight brokerage to join their dynamic team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who brings an established book of business , particularly with significant U.S.-based clients, generating $500K in gross profit annually. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in logistics sales, excelling in building and maintaining client relationships, negotiating freight rates, and driving revenue growth.     Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, focusing on U.S.-based businesses to expand the company's market share.
    • Leverage an established book of business to generate $500K in gross profit annually through freight brokerage services, including FTL, LTL, and specialized freight.
    • Negotiate competitive freight rates with clients and carriers, ensuring profitability while meeting client needs.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and dispatch, to ensure seamless execution of transportation and logistics services.
    • Optionally, bring and integrate a trusted operations partner to support logistics coordination, enhancing service delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Utilize the company's Transportation Management System (TMS) to track shipments, provide real-time updates to clients, and optimize logistics processes.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation, focusing on high-value U.S. accounts.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to position our company as a leader in logistics solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including cross-border customs and import/export documentation, for U.S., Canadian, and Mexican shipments.
    • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, contributing to strategic planning and growth initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics sales, specifically within a freight brokerage environment , with a focus on U.S. business.
    • Established book of business generating $500K in gross profit annually , with a strong network of U.S.-based clients.
    • Proven expertise in freight rate negotiation, carrier sourcing, and managing high-volume, cross-border shipments (U.S., Canada, Mexico).
    • Strong understanding of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics technologies for tracking and optimization.
    • Ability to bring a trusted operations partner is a significant advantage, demonstrating a collaborative and efficient work dynamic.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage clients and internal teams effectively.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred, given the role's location in Montreal and cross-border operations.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export documentation, and C-TPAT compliance for cross-border logistics.
    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Compensation

    • Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $200,000 annually, commensurate with experience and book of business.
    • Commission structure offering 10% of gross profit on all sales, providing significant earning potential.
