    Logistics & Sales Specialist

Are you a logistics professional with strong operations knowledge and the personality of a driven problem solver who thrives in high-energy, fast-moving environments? StaffBuffalo is excited to partner with a long-standing boutique logistics organization to hire a Logistics & Sales Specialist, offering a $60,000–$65,000 base salary with uncapped commission potential — typically bringing total annual earnings to $100,000–$110,000 or more. This role blends quoting, sales, relationship building, and creative problem-solving in an industry where timelines shift quickly and solutions matter.

The Logistics & Sales Specialist will manage quoting, inside sales, and new business development while serving as the point person for customers navigating complex freight decisions. You’ll travel to port cities, build meaningful customer relationships, juggle a high volume of communication, and think quickly when clients need solutions — often on tight deadlines. This role requires grit, organization, strong logistics intuition, and the ability to stay calm and effective when a lot comes at you at once.

You’ll be stepping into a role previously held for more than a decade, joining a tight-knit team known for its longevity, autonomy, and genuinely enjoyable culture.

This is an in-person position in the Buffalo area (hybrid once fully trained).

    • Ability to manage urgent, time-sensitive situations with grace and efficiency
    • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling many tasks at once
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills and comfort working in a TMS
    • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality for sales and customer growth
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
    • Willingness to travel approximately one week per month

    Work Schedule & Environment

    • Monday–Wednesday: In-office
    • Thursday–Friday: Remote after full training
    • Occasional evening/weekend monitoring due to industry demands
    • Standard hours: 8am–5pm (flexible once trust is established)
