    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE APPLICATIONS ANALYST

    As the Applications Analyst you are responsible for the following objectives:

    • Provide Financial Analysis Support.

    • Provide support for procurement of equipment and materials.

    • Provide subject matter expertise in the Industrial Management, Work Force Management, Financial Management, Business Operations, and Maintenance Data Systems support. These business areas correspond to the MARMC Production, Engineering, Finance, Command Support Services, and Business Departments. Experience with the following Shipyard systems: (COST, Advanced Industrial Management (AIM), Automated Training Management System (ATMS), Material Requirement (MRQT), MAT (Material Access Technology), Supervisors Desk (SUPDESK), Supplemental Administration Employee Management (SAEM), Project Sequencing and Scheduling (PSS) and Business Objects.)

    • Provide support for designing, following, updating standardized business processes.

    • Perform GAP Analysis review to assist in assuring Command Comprehensive planning is in place to facilitate timely and quality application deployment of Maritime System Environments.

    • Provide Metrics Support to the employees of the business area assigned.

    • Provide support for core functions with Industrial Management.

    • Provide support for core functions with Work Force Management and Human Resources (Military and Civilian).

    • Provide support for core functions with Business Operations.

    • Provide support for core functions with Maintenance Data Systems Support.

    MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance. (Active one preferred)
    • Bachelor's degree in Business / Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
    • Two years of job-related experience may be substituted for each year of college.
