We are currently supporting our client in hiring a Logistics Specialist in Detroit, Michigan
What we are looking for:
Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of their assigned inventory areas,
Maintain records as required by the quality system
Appropriately package and ship equipment to our customers and vendors.
Receive, unpack, and account for the contents of all inbound orders.
Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against documentation and identify discrepancies.

Research and implement shipping options for unusual packaging situations or customers'
requirements.
Receive and handle vendor deliveries, completing paperwork as needed.
Initiate and manage shipping claims through to resolution, including maintaining customer contact.
Use UPS (WorldShip) and FedEx to generate shipping labels.
Maintain relationships with UPS, FedEx, and any other relevant parcel sales contacts.
Performs database equipment entry and validations. Verify manufacturer/model/serial.

Provide backup delivery driver responsibilities, including driving various routes to transport.
Perform other duties as requested.
