Job Requirement: Logistics Support CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD
Position Title: Logistics Analyst (Senior)
Location: HQ Space Operations Command (SpOC), Peterson Space Force Base, CO
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Analysis and Recommendations:
Analyze and recommend changes to logistics priorities for Space Control (SC), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and Command and Control (C2) systems.
Review Capability Needs Analysis (CNA) logistics/sustainment needs and develop acquisition strategies to address capability gaps.
Life Cycle Support:
Develop and update Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSP) and Integrated Support Plans (ISP) for current and future systems.
Review sustainment concepts, maintenance philosophies, and depot maintenance plans.
Technical Order Management:
Manage Technical Order (TO) development and ensure compliance with MIL-PRF-32216 and AFTO standards.
Review TOs for accuracy, safety, and suitability.
Fielding and Sustainment Planning:
Review plans for fielding and sustainment of SC, SDA, and C2 capabilities.
Perform site surveys and analyze logistics support requirements for system deployment and sustainment.
Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA):
Develop initial RMA requirements and update analyses for inclusion in Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD), Combat Capability Documents (CCD), and Capabilities Production Documents (CPD).
Identify Weapon System Sustainment (WSS) requirements to ensure adequate funding across the Future Year Defense Plan (FYDP).
Training and Maintenance Support:
Review and update maintenance training requirements and Training System Requirements Analysis (TSRA) for inclusion in System Training Plans (STP).
Analyze the suitability of maintenance training throughout the system lifecycle.
Decommissioning and Disposal Planning:
Review and recommend changes to system decommissioning plans, redistribution plans, and disposition instructions for SC systems.
Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Education: May possess a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Program Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in logistics planning, sustainment, or lifecycle management within a government or military environment.
Familiarity with DoD logistics policies and AFI 63-101/20-101 is preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and task management tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in logistics or lifecycle management are a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience with logistics sustainment planning and technical order management.
Knowledge of RMA analysis and lifecycle support strategies.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Note: This position requires strict adherence to security protocols and may involve occasional travel to support operational requirements.
