Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Logistics Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution center. This position involves various tasks related to materials handling, order picking, and heavy equipment operation. The Logistics Technician will work closely with warehouse supervisors to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as cherry pickers and clamp trucks for efficient materials handling.

Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently to meet distribution deadlines.

Build and assemble products as required for shipment.

Maintain an organized and clean work environment within the warehouse.

Utilize the warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage orders.

Assist in heavy lifting of materials, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues.

Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and performing job duties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred.

Proficiency in operating cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment is highly desirable.

Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is a plus.

Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new skills.
