    Content Lead

    The Content Lead is responsible for researching and developing inspiring content for multiple marketing channels (Social, Digital, and Print) in order to grow London Drugs’ online presence and audiences aligned through real stories of who we are, what we do, and the people we serve. This role requires an ability to maintain consistency of style, quality, and content to support London Drugs’ corporate storytelling strategy.

    Responsibilities include:

    Plan, write, edit, and proof multi-media marketing assets for internal and external online and print publications.

    Research and interview internal and external subject matter experts to develop stories and content along a variety of platforms and channels that align to our business objectives and brand guidelines.

    Actively participate in the development and roll out of the content strategy across channels to share key stories, facts, and outcomes more effectively with our stakeholders.

    Review and edit a range of materials such as brochures, signage, displays, posters, newsletters and deliver marketing materials with prescribed corporate style and standards.

    The successful candidate should possess the following:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent work experience an asset.

    Deep understanding of Social Media, it’s various channels and communication styles.

    Creative thinker with previous experience in writing, editing and proofreading, as well as interviewing subject matter experts and members of the public in order to develop personal stories.

    Experience providing guidance on voice, tone and in-house editorial standards to support organization’s brand and message for a range of channels

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Portfolio of relevant writing/project samples.

    Retail Marketing experience an asset
