    Creative Lead Designer - One Year Contract

    We are looking for a creative visionary who thrives in fast-paced environments and emphasizes collaboration, communication, and commitment. The Creative Lead Designer is responsible for delivering break-through campaigns across various marketing channels and mentoring a team of graphic artists to refine and improve customer engagement and store traffic.

    This role is integral in the marketing department, with the successful candidate being highly influential in helping guide aspects of brand, voice, copy, visual and overall creative. In addition, the role requires a strong creative, analytical, and fiscal responsibility to maximize resources and meet business objectives.

    The successful candidate should possess the following:

    A marketing or business degree or equivalent work experience in role.

    10 years of experience in marketing creative with a track record of strong creative judgement to engage a mass audience across different channels.

    Previous marketing and branding experience.

    A solid foundational knowledge across creative/graphics production, visual design, front-end development, interaction design, and marketing communications. This role will require working with multiple disciplines on the marketing team throughout the creative process.

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tell a story and present it to executives, team members, and outside agencies.

    Ability to interpret briefing process to ensure creative execution delivers on the business objectives.

    Proficient in copy writing with experience in helping craft cohesive brand/voice/visual elements.

    Ability to think strategically and innovate in both established and new mediums.

    Experience managing budgets and systems.

    A sincere love for retail, customers and a desire to change the status quo.

    Experience with building a brand and a deep understanding of what makes iconic and successful brands.

    Responsibilities:

    Support the graphic artists with the volume of work with flyer, signage, packaging and digital/web production work.

    Define the creative look and feel of all content marketing campaigns in partnership with internal and cross functional partners.

    Drive creative direction and development with agency and internal production partners.

    Identify new channels and creative opportunities for our content brands to activate while providing a logical framework for future innovation.

    Manage relationships with cross functional teams to execute campaigns; in particular, coordinate closely with other marketing functions, including brand marketing, social, creative and PR to ensure campaigns fit with overall brand initiatives and communications timelines.

    Coach, train and develop staff to meet operating and succession planning goals. Give direction of assigned duties.

    Strengthen the creative excellence of the Marketing team.

    This is a one year contract, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. If you have a positive, mature, outgoing leadership style, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills then we have the opportunity for you to excel!
