    General Purpose

    The Processor is responsible for the timely processing of applications in compliance with Corporate and underwriting guidelines.

    Shift

    Rotating shifts, Monday- Friday 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. or 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. with occasional Saturdays, as business needs dictate.

    Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

    Collect and review documents to satisfy applications.

    Ensure completeness of documentation and that it meets department service and quality standards.

    Prepare files for underwriting review.

    Prepare file by reviewing application; clarifying and obtaining additional information as necessary.

    Processor will ensure accurate, complete, and timely data on processing system.

    Reviews exception reports to ensure all tasks are completed and application is on target to meet funding guidelines.

    Proactive communication of application status to the seller and Call Center Sales Agents.

    Effectively provide professional internal and external communication whether written or verbal.

    Continues to stay on top of underwriting and compliance guidelines.

    A team player who actively seeks training opportunities, solutions to various underwriting issues and shares best practices with all team members.

    Is proactive in updating all involved after new documents are uploaded or status changes occur.

    Education and Experience

    Two years related experience as a processor, underwriter or equivalent

    High level of proficiency with processing and underwriting systems

    Commitment to excellence and high standards

    Excellent written and oral communication skills

    Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills

    Ability to manage priorities and workflow

    Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

    Acute attention to detail

    Excellent customer service skills

    Proven ability to handle multiple applications at one time

    Strong interpersonal skills

    Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

    Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds

    Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
