MUSIC & WORSHIP ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONS:
The Music & Worship Administrative Assistant is responsible to the church, as supervised and directed by the Minister of Music, Office Manager, and Church Administrator for providing administrative support to all aspects of the worship and music ministry.
HOURS, DAYS, AND EXPECTATIONS:
This is a part-time position based on 26 hours a week, but may be expanded to full-time hours if the best applicant is qualified for and desires the Graphics Director responsibility.

Sample Office Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9-12; 12:30-4:00 (26 hours) (flexible)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Attention to detail and excellence.
- Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
- Basic music skills and ability to read and understand music.
- Knowledge and proficiency in computer programs such as MS Word, Publisher, Excel, Touch Point, Planning Center, and others. Training provided.
- Ministry mindset, friendly personality, and excellent people skills.
MUSIC ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES: (26 HOURS/WEEK)
- Organize, compile, file, mark, and copy music for every worship service or church event.
- Keep thorough attendance records for all Choirs/Musical groups through Touch Point.
- Provide resources and communicate with all Choirs/Musical groups and leaders.
- Produce, mark, copy, or delegate Orchestra music for Sundays and special events.
- Produce letters, cards, and publications for the worship ministry.
- Help type and print Technical Scripts and other projects as directed.
- Create, edit, reformat, and produce CDs and copies for Worship and Choirs.
8. Assist in preparing resources and communications for children’s and youth worship volunteers and parents.
- Organize Minister of Music’s files, music, office, and resources.
- File and organize music library and keep Choir folders current.
- Assist with answering phones, sorting mail, and greeting visitors to the office.
- Enlist, direct, and oversee volunteers who help in the music office.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Minister of Music or Administrative Staff.
