Warehouse Management System (WMS) Administrator
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a WMS (Warehouse Management System) Administrator. As a WMS Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of our warehouse management system to ensure efficient and effective operations. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including warehouse staff, IT teams, and management, to optimize the functionality and performance of the WMS. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Implement and configure the WMS software to align with the company's operational requirements.
Manage and maintain the WMS system, including user access, system and Location configurations, item Master, and database administration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify system improvements, and implement best practices.
Provide technical support to end-users and client, addressing system issues, troubleshooting errors, and optimizing system performance.
Conduct regular system audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity and system accuracy.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate warehouse staff on WMS functionalities and best practices.
Monitor system performance, generate reports, and analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for system optimization.
Coordinate with vendors and external support teams for system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other systems.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in WMS technology, making recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades.
Participate in the development and execution of testing plans for system upgrades, patches, and new functionalities.
Support the onboarding of new client’s through emails and conference calls to help them transition to Thrive3PL.
Make recommendations for process and system enhancements that will support Lean Management concepts.
Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and training purposes.
Support the Branding and 3PL Business’ with the writing of programs and Scripts to assist with creating efficiency.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data security, system backups, disaster recovery plans, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist with Operational processes to include but not limited to, Order Processing, picking, shipping and cycle counts
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WMS Administrator or similar role, with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting WMS systems.
Strong technical proficiency in WMS software platforms (e.g., Oracle WMS, Manhattan WMS, SAP EWM) and related technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve system issues promptly and efficiently.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Experience in system configuration, user access management, database administration, and data integration.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and process optimization.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
