    COMPENSATION: $100,000 - $250,000 yearly

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision
    • Maintain an active rolling pipeline of funding per our guidelines
    • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all required documents from borrowers, loan officers, title companies and other related industry professionals
    • Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
    • Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction

    PRODUCTION

    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly production goals/quotas set by the company
    • Provide borrower with specific instructions on completing the loan application either via online application or by scheduling a phone appointment to take the application over the phone
    • Prepare and deliver transaction-specific quotes to prospects via email and discuss them over the phone. Confirm receipt of quotes via email or phone conversation
    • Document and send all quotes to the borrower in writing via email or SMS. The criteria the quote is based on must be clearly visible when sending a quote to a borrower
    • The originator will be required to complete mandatory requirements of renewal of originator licenses (i.e. continued education, updating NMLS filing, promptly communicating, and providing any information/documentation requested via NMLS or any regulatory agency)

    CRM/LOS MANAGEMENT

    • Keep all assigned leads up to date in real-time in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Loan Origination Software (LOS) with specific information including status, transaction type (refinance/purchase), all relevant data entry fields, detailed relationship-building notes on all communications/interactions, updated contact activity, etc.
    • Review the loan application once completed and confirm the final quote with the borrower to move the application forward
    • Promptly respond to all communications directly from the borrower or from third parties (realtor, escrow, etc.)
    • Maintain communication with the borrower through completion of the loan application, transmittal of all requested financial documents, an initial review of application/documentation by the Loan Coordinator, and the completion of the disclosure process
    • Originator acknowledges that information within Loan Origination Software (LOS) will be the primary data source for commissions/payroll, sales contests, call quotas, and metrics of performance

    COMMUNICATION TO BORROWERS AND ENGAGEMENT WITH TEAM

    • Educate prospects on Long Beach Home Loan's business model, the benefits of working with an independent mortgage broker (speed, service, affordability), company’s track record for delivering a high-quality borrower experience - reinforced by online borrower reviews
    • Provide continuous and timely feedback to operations (Loan Coordinator, Loan Opener, Loan Analyst, and Processor) regarding any change in status to any pending applications or loans in process
    • The originator will be required to attend all sales meetings and all company training that relate to compliance policies and procedures

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A valid Real Estate License is required for this job

    • Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required

    • Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies

    • Previous experience with Office Suite and loan originating software such as Experian, Calyx, or LendingWise preferred

    • Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor’s degree required

    • Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/ adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit

    • Excellent phone skills required

    • DRE license highly preferred
