This is a full-time opportunity with a major organization in the Washington, DC area. Strong compensation offered for the right candidate. Union experience very highly preferred.
The selected staff member will support a commercial client in the area of HR Analysis. The work responsibilities are varied and could include providing counsel and support to managers/supervisors on issues of company/HR policy application and production operation; working with operations to resolve employee relations issues; investigating, counseling and assisting in resolving disputes; providing guidance on employment related issues (such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, discrimination, diversity, corrective action and progressive discipline) to operations leadership; facilitating HR processes and operations programs to ensure ethical, fair and consistent approach.
Required Skills
Required Experience
· Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or relevant field
· 5+ years of experience in leading and managing HR Management activities in a large organization, with union and non-union populations
Position is on a hybrid model with 3 days on-site in Alexandria, VA
