    The Marketing Coordinator is an entry level marketing position responsible for providing support to the marketing team with day-to-day operations while upholding consistent brand standards and guidelines throughout the credit union and its branches. Oversees communication between Marketing and retail branches through monthly marketing liaison meetings, maintenance of the promotions portal page, regular branch visits and marketing supply management. Oversees inventory of promotional supplies and vendor management; including, but not limited to online warehouse of marketing supplies; coordinating and supplying retail branches and departments with promotional items as needed. Assists with miscellaneous advertising and copywriting support. Provides assistance with planning and working marketing and promotional events.

    Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    · Branch Communication and Coordination

    o Facilitates communication between marketing and the branches.

    o Organizes and leads monthly marketing liaison meetings.

    o Conducts quarterly branch audits to ensure all marketing materials, signage, etc. are compliant and up-to-date.

    o Manages Marketing Promotions page on intranet site to ensure all employees are educated on current campaigns and promotions.

    o Assists in maintaining storefront advertising at the Win Hentschel Blvd. Branch. Working alongside the Community Relations Specialist.

    · Supplies and Vendor Management

    o Responsible for the overall management of marketing supplies; coordinates with the warehousing vendor on the supply of business cards, brochures, envelopes, letterhead, and other branded and promotional items.

    o Responsible for working with vendors and credit union staff to research and purchase competitively–priced and creative promotional items while remaining within budget.

    o Manages production of direct mail campaigns.

    o Processes marketing invoices.

    · Advertising/Copywriting Support

    ~~o ~~Writes and coordinates marketing messages on statements, teller receipts and on-hold recordings.

    o Coordinates ad copy and design for miscellaneous community sponsorship advertisements.

    o Manages relationships advertising contracts and submissions under guidance of the Marketing Specialist.

    o Edits forms for branches and support departments, ensuring brand consistency under guidance of Marketing Specialist.

    o Writes member communication for different departments as needed through submitted Help Desk requests.

    o Coordinates compliance review of marketing materials.

    · Event Support

    o Plans and manages miscellaneous events and tabling efforts from in-branch promotions to retirement parties and other events as they arise.

    o Provides support as needed to other community events and tabling efforts.

    Required Skills

    Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

    · Education and Credentials

    o Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field required.

    · Experience

    o 1 to 3 years’ experience, including internships, working in a marketing/communication department preferred.

    · Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    o Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    o Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.

    o Ability to lead and facilitate meetings.

    o Ability to multitask while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

    o Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members and vendors.

    o Ability to follow the core values of honesty, integrity, mutual respect, pride and ownership.

    o Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
