After School Teacher - Children's Workshops Position

What are the job responsibilities?

Review and learn the provided training and curriculum materials and show an understanding of learned concepts.

Effective communication of Mad Science materials, keeping children engaged.

Travel to public and private schools to deliver presentations.

Travel to office location to pick up materials and kits for training and presentation purposes.

What are we looking for?

You must enjoy and have some experience working with pre-k and elementary aged children.

Positive energy and a sense of humor.

Reliable personal transportation (a must).

Availability from 2 - 5 PM M-F for after school programs

How are instructors compensated?

$47 per 45 min program/class taught.

Long Island STEAM Group has been providing enrichment programs on Long Island since 2003 to children in grades Pre-K to 6. Our programs include Mad Science, Crayola Imagine Arts Academy, Schoolhouse Chess, and Brixology.
