Longbridge is excited to be adding to our Houston Servicing team. We are currently recruiting for an Assignment Specialist. This role will be in our Houston office, Monday-Friday 7am-4pm CST.

The Assignment Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day work between LBF and its subservicer and vendors ensuring the subservicer is operating in a manner that is consistent with LBF’s legal and regulatory obligations, contractual requirements, and performance expectations for loans that are soon to be eligible or are eligible for Assignment to HUD.

Primary Job Duties:

• Review reporting for loans near 98% MCA to ensure all collateral is obtained.
• Work with document custodian and their imaging system to obtain required assignment images.
• Understanding curative work for loans that have collateral issues and how to resolve the matter.
• Review reports and work queues to manage all timelines.
• Work with the subservicer to ensure all documents are in their possession and ready for assignment.
• Documents all assignment activities, actions taken, delays, follow ups and phone conversations.
• Analyze subservicers requests for documents and work with internal LBF team to obtain.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or Equivalent
• 2-5 years FHA HECM Assignment experience required
• Understanding of the entire FHA HECM Assignment process flow and remediation
• 2-5 years Reverse Mortgage assignment experience required
• Experience with BKFS, Tempo, ReverseServ and HERMIT
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
