Sales / Service
Local company seeking highly motivated person for our office in San Luis Obispo. Qualifying individual MUST be a self-starter and be able to multitask and work independently.
Tasks:
· Provide sales and customer service to phone, walk-in and Internet customers
· Write invoices and sales orders according to company guidelines
· Generate written correspondence to customers and suppliers
· Give verbal and written quotes including pricing, taxes and freight
· Occasionally perform customer deliveries using pickup with and without a trailer (class C)
· Operate a forklift for loading and unloading of product
· Install basic plumbing connections on product at our store
· Maintain a neat and orderly yard, shop and office
Tools and technology used in this occupation:
· Computer(s) running MS Windows
· Telephone
· Fax machine
· Delivery pickup truck
· Car trailer
· Forklift
· Power tools such as a drill
Required skills:
· Excellent sales & customer service abilities
· Clean DMV record (to be provided by applicant)
· Proficiency with MS Windows and Office (Word/Excel), email and Internet
Desired / optional skills:
· Familiarity with website maintenance
