Los Feliz Animal Hospital, has an opening for an energetic Veterinary Kennel Assistant. We are looking to hire someone who is always punctual, professional, respectful and reliable. Veterinary experience REQUIRED (not just owning a pet).

The right team member is able to take directions well and has great attention to detail, has flexible hours, is able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and is able to follow protocols related to safety-OSHA. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the hospital: sidewalk, reception area, treatment area, exam rooms, surgery, kennel etc.
• Disinfect all areas of the hospital
• Daily Laundry
• Handle, Restrain, feed pets
• Discharge and Admit patients
• Record information such as feeding schedules
• Unpack deliveries and stock items
