    Job Description

    Lotus Energy & Solar is currently seeking independent-working, commission-based, Residential Solar Sales Representatives to sell our renewable energy products and services to potential customers. You would be responsible for identifying potential clients, building relationships and conducting virtual and in-home consultations, and ultimately closing deals. You will primarily work from your home office. HOWEVER, you will be serving clients in the Charlotte region, which includes meeting them in their houses-- you must be local to Charlotte, NC for this position! Responsibilities: * Identifying potential clients by researching business leads, contacting and developing relationships with prospects. * Providing in-home and virtual consultations to accurately and ethically explain our products and services to potential clients. * Negotiating/Closing sales deals. * Coordinating with your in-office operations leader to ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met. * Maintaining clear and regular communication with your operations leader to properly service new potential sales opportunities. * Attending 1-2 virtual sales meetings per month to receive updates on products, industry trends, government policy, and company operations. Requirements: * Independent and Self-Motivated. * Sales Skills--these are the principal skills required of this role! * Interpersonal Intelligence--customer service is king! * Decisive Communication Skills--to maintain control over your sales process. * Self-Discipline--to manage your time and resources efficiently and purposefully. * Passion for Learning--you are selling renewable energy technology! * Ethics--we are a people-serving-people business, and every deal should be mutually beneficial to all parties! Compensation: * As a commission-only sales representative (1099), you will receive a proportion of sales revenue from every contract you close. There are no caps or limits upon your earning potential. At minimum, nearly all reps have historically achieved a commission revenue of $50k per year, whereas the hardest workers have achieved as high has $120k per year--most fall somewhere in the middle. Even as a part-time side hustle, we have had reps generate roughly $24k per year. These are real figures achieved by real people: the harvest is proportional to the planting.
