JOB SUMMARY

Provides assessment, services coordination, and counseling to clients (focus on geriatrics) eligible for receiving multi-services in the community or in need of counseling. Only LCSW need apply. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Master’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology

2. Current state certification and LICENSURE (LCSW) IN SOCIAL WORK IS REQUIRED

3. Four years experience working with geriatric population is required with experience in providing both group and individual therapy.

4. Full understanding the life cycle, older adult issues and family dynamics

5. Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients and to interact with their families.

6. Effective verbal and written communication skills required

7. Demonstrated ability to work within team environment is necessary

8. Must have knowledge of state and local resources for referrals, including programs available to older adults

9. Must have current drivers license, vehicle insurance and own a vehicle

10. Knowledge of legal rights for mental health of the older adult
