Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy to patients following the prescribed treatment plans and under the direction of the radiation oncologist.
• Utilize advanced technology and equipment to deliver accurate and precise radiation treatments.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during radiation therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
• Assist in educating patients and their families about radiation therapy procedures and expectations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Radiation Therapist.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably in an oncology setting.
• Strong understanding of radiation therapy principles, techniques, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
