Overview:
Hyatt Centric South Beach is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server / Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a bartender at our stylish south beach property, you will create memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding service to guests by engaging with them, taking orders, and delivering drinks in a timely manner.
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized area, including glassware and equipment, to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Create and implement innovative drink specials and seasonal cocktails to enhance the guest experience and promote bar sales.
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of alcohol, inventory management, and accurate cash handling.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless service for our guests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of local and international spirits, wines, and beers, and provide recommendations to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Participate in regular training sessions to keep up to date on new products, trends in mixology, and service techniques.
• Support the overall team in various tasks as needed to maintain a high level of service.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a hotel bar/restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation and mixing techniques, as well as an understanding of bar equipment and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for exceptional guest service.
