    Tim Love Catering has an immediate opening for a Catering Operations and Event Manager. In this role, you will plan and manage off-site catering events, staffing, and all standard food service and beverage operations.

    To be successful in this role, you must be personable, enjoy working with the general public, be energetic, be able to sell, be flexible, and extremely organized with the chaos that comes with managing a wide variety of events. You must be adaptable to frequently changing environments and directions with little notice to no notice.

    This position requires frequent local travel and occasional out of town travel. A valid driver's license and the ability and willingness to operate company vehicles is required.

    Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

    -Oversee all aspects of the catering operations including planning, organizing, managing, and coordinating various types and sizes of events. -Entertain and coordinate with guest/client's details about their specific events including tastings as needed. -Must be a team player providing motivation, leadership, direction, and support to your team. -Must have own reliable transportation and be willing to travel to off-site events on occasion as needed. -Must always follow best practices ensuring delivery of food quality and service maintaining all state and local health standards. -Must always exceed guest satisfaction by delivering smooth seamless service.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in catering or food service management.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must have Food Managers Permit and TABC.
    • Operations or General management experience is required.
    • Must be available to work; days, nights, weekends, and holiday as dictated by event schedules.
