Tannahill Tavern & Music Hall is looking to hire some new pizza cooks. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas according to our recipes and standards. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook pizzas, ensuring that they are cooked to perfection and meet our quality standards.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings.
• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Assist with menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new pizza flavors or specials.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent knife skills for slicing ingredients is a plus.
• Knowledge of menu planning and culinary techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
