Queenie's is seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall dining experience of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure that food is cooked properly and served at the right temperature
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines

*Must have or obtain a Texas Food Handlers Certification.
