Lovell Law Group, PC (“LLG”) is a boutique corporate law firm focused on the contracting needs of pharmaceutical and biotech companies. We are looking to hire and train new associates who are interested in transactional work and who possess high attention to detail. 

This is an exciting opportunity to tackle complex legal challenges on a global scale. You will counsel and collaborate with some of the most innovative and dynamic minds in the pharmaceutical industry while growing and developing a diverse set of skills. You will learn to handle a robust set of contracts for before and after a medicine is approved by the FDA. You will also learn about contract management, contract management systems, and contract flow within the clients’ organizations.

For most of LLG’s clients, you will look and feel like part of the client’s in-house team, where you will have a direct line to their businesspeople and legal teams while drafting and negotiating contracts on the client’s behalf.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Admitted to the State Bar of California
• 1 - 4 years of experience with clinical contracts
• Experience with corporate contracts (MSAs, SOWs, Amendments) and/or Clinical Trial Agreements preferred, but not required 
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with businesspeople to counsel them on legal/contract issues

COMPENSATION

• $150,000 - 200,000 per year starting salary, commensurate with experience
• 1,800 billable hours
