Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting entries to support accurate and timely financial statements
• Assist with month end closing, closing journal entries, accrual accounting and financial schedule preparation
• Review, reconcile, and analyze specific general ledger accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Monitor costs, pricing and track spending, changes in inventory. 
• Maintain fixed assets ledger
• Perform variance analysis on revenue and expense accounts and report findings to management
• Monitor and analyze assigned transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare accruals and reserves to ensure that revenue and expenses are properly recognized in the appropriate accounting period
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for review and analysis
• Prepare schedules for annual audit
• Maintain ongoing compliance with GAAP principles, internal controls and providing technical support and guidance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting required
• 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience
• Public Accounting experience or cost accounting in a manufacturing setting required
• Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solving skills
• Motivated, self-directed, and results-driven approach to work, takes ownership of assigned tasks to drive them to completion
• Capable of establishing effective working relationships that promote teamwork and collaboration
